Suggested Cruises 2024/25

Mandurah Boat Charters offers private charters for up to 20 guests at a time aboard our fleet of modern, comfortable, stable, safe and luxurious pontoon boats – all skippered by a fully qualified Coxswain.

Private charters with us are the best way to make sure that you experience the magic of being on the water without the distraction of having to share a huge cruise boat with people you don’t know.

All our suggested cruises can start and finish at our jetty in Mandurah Ocean Marina, or we can pick you up at your Mandurah canals location or in the case of our Murray River cruises we can pick up from Jetty’s Bar & Grill, Sandy Cove Tavern or Ravenswood Hotel.

MANDURAH & THE CANALS SUGGESTED CRUISES

Our Mandurah cruises can be tailored to your schedule and budget.

1 Hour Cruise

Tour Mandurah Ocean Marina and the Mandurah canals to view the magnificent canal homes, all while keeping a lookout for the local wild dolphins in their natural environment.

1 ½ Hour Cruise

Tour the marina and the canals plus cruise Mandjar Bay, the eastern foreshore and take in the iconic  Moreton Bay fig tree at Stingray Point.

2 ½ Hour Cruise

Cruise with us through the marina and the canals, Mandjar Bay and the eastern foreshore and then voyage a little further into the mouth of the Peel Inlet through the protected wetlands to Boundary Island. You’ll see pelicans, ospreys, black swans and a host of other wildlife. Extend your cruise if you’d like to have a swim in the pristine and protected waters of Boundary Island.

Sunset Cruises – 1-2 hours

A summer favourite. Mandurah’s waters are the perfect place to experience one of our perfect WA golden summer sunsets. Relax with a BYO drink in hand and drink in the stunning views. We’ll drop you back at our jetty in the marina which is a stone’s throw from a huge range of dining options. Alternatively bring your own food on your cruise! Our popular Sunset Cruises operate 7 days a week and we suggest booking in advance.

SUGGESTED DESTINATION CRUISES

4 Hour Cruise – Mandurah Giants – Seba’s Song (Mandurah to Dawesville)

While artist Thomas Dambo’s larger-than-life wooden sculptures have taken up residence in locations throughout Mandurah, Seba’s Song on the sea wall at Dawesville is the only one that has to be seen from the water to be fully appreciated.

Join us for a 3-hour round trip across the Peel inlet to Dawesville and see Seba’s Song in all his glory. Add an hour and make a day of it with lunch at Café Coast or Siri’s Fish Shack.

2-hour cruise – Mandurah to Boundary Island Brewery

Tour Mandurah Ocean Marina and the Mandurah canals before we drop you at the award-winning Boundary Island Brewery for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Return trips available with no waiting fees if the turnaround is two hours or less.

MURRAY RIVER CRUISES

All Day Cruise – Mandurah – Murray River

A leisurely trip across the Peel Inlet from Mandurah up the Murray River punctuated by drinks and lunch at one (or all) of the river’s iconic hotels is one of the best ways to spend a day out in Mandurah. Tour the historic Cooper’s Mill on Cooleenup Island (only accessible by boat) and relax in one of Western Australia’s most beautiful river settings. Options include free-swimming in the pristine waters of the Peel inlet, a dip in the river or a stop-in at the protected Boundary Island swimming spot.

Half Day Cruise – Murray River Pick-up

If time is a factor then you can enjoy a half-day Murray River cruise and we’ll pick you up at one of three locations – Jettys Bar & Grill, Sandy Cove Tavern or Ravenswood Hotel. A half day is plenty of time to cruise the river between Coolenup Island and The Ravo with a stop for refreshments and a swim included!
